My Spins

  • Spending time with my two cats and my dog.
  • Fried Chicken: I’m often known as the &quote;chicken nugget girl&quote; among my family and friends. I’ve let my obsession with fried chicken take me on adventures to find the best in the world, the favourite I’ve had so far was in Atlanta!
  • Watching sports: My favourite teams are Hawthorn in the AFL, Boston Celtics in the NBA and the New Orleans Saints in the NFL. I have been lucky enough to travel to the USA to see the Celtics play 2 basketball games in 2019, and I’m hoping to travel there again to see a gridiron game and see the Saints play for the first time!

  • Watching various dog, cat, fox, bear, emu, bat, magpie, elephant.....any kind of funny or clever animal videos
  • Politics, history and hybrid warfare
  • Food, glorious food!
  • Horror movies, British movies, limited series, never-ending series (if it has zombies, aliens, pandemic, natural disaster, cataclysmic events or the end of the world in it - I have probably seen it) .

My Work Passions

  • Learning to work in a neurodiversity affirming way
  • Working with little ones, not-so-little ones, adolescents and young adults - because I get to sneak in a card game or two
  • Supporting parents and carers in the hardest job they will ever do
  • Working with adults - especially later-diagnosed neurodivergent clients who have started on their journey of self-discovery and would like to explore this new landscape with curiosity
  • Connecting every day with people who make me appreciate how unique, funny, fragile, loving, resilient and wonderful we humans are ❤️
