Wagtail Therapy is able to offer services under a variety of funding options
NDIS
Wagtail Therapy is able to provide services to NDIS participants who are agency managed, plan-managed or self-managed for the following NDIS support categories:
- Capacity Building - Improved Daily Living
- Capacity Building Supports for Early Childhood Interventions - Psychology
- Capacity Building Supports for Early Childhood Interventions - Other Therapy
- Capacity Building – Improved Relationships
Our fees for NDIS services are:
- $210/billable hour for a Registered Psychologist
- $155/billable hour for a Provisional Psychologist
Medicare
Wagtail Therapy is a registered Medicare provider. To claim the Medicare rebate please ensure that you have a referral from your GP, Paediatrician or Psychiatrist.
Medicare rebates are available for psychological treatment by Registered Psychologists under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative. Eligible people can receive up to 10 sessions in a calendar year.
Please note Wagtail Therapy does not provide bulk-billing services, there will be a gap payment payable.
Private Health Care
Some psychological therapy services may be eligible for rebates through your Private Health Insurance extras cover. Please contact your insurance provider to confirm your eligibility for rebates.
Upon payment of your fees we will provide you with a receipt that you can submit to your health insurer for a rebate.
Clients must determine whether they are going to claim their fees through either one of the Medicare programs or their Private Health fund. You are unable to use Medicare and your Private Health insurance for the same consultation
Fee for Service
Wagtail Therapy accepts clients who do not have a GP referral or who are not accessing government funding. We provide services at an hourly rate.
